Horseid and Bunes, Lofoten Islands Situated on the northern coast of Moskenes, the stunning beaches of Horseid and Bunes are both within a days journey from Reine. The first thing you will notice when seeing the rock formation is its iconic shape. The same goes for Trondheim as anywhere else; leave drunk people alone and it's a good chance they'll leave you alone as well. Just across the Old Town bridge and down a scary-looking staircase, this is a brown fisherman's pub in an old warehouse.
Sognefjord In terms of sheer size, Sognefjord is the very best that Norway has to offer. As enormous blocks of earth and rock were carried away by the moving glacier, it left one of Nature's most impressive sculptures as a farewell gift: Preikestolen. The food of the day is good if you need something with your beer. Actually, Trondheim does have quite a lot of northern lights and on active days it can be just as good as further north. A different neighbourhood to walk around in, with very few shops, cafes and lots of graffiti. Starbucks solsiden is one of the bigger starbucks and it has a fine atmosphere. There is also a staggering variety of terrain, ranging from the Olympic standard alpine tracks at Hafjell, to the cross country skiing paths dotted throughout the Jotunheimen national park. If you want to make it clear whether you are going the E6 (towards Oslo ) or the E39 (towards Molde / lesund you need to get the Orkanger/Fannrem-bound bus to ysand (for E39) or the Stren-bound bus to Kvl (for E6).
